Animated Prototype
This digital poster prototype was conceptualized out of my frustrations as a "non-programmer". Passive interactions are difficult to express through sketches and static mock-ups. With this prototype I wanted to use the video / animation to more advantageously express the desired experience.
Working Prototype
I eventually presented my prototype to friend Shaun Dubuque who helped me create this working prototype of the poster. The poster was exhibited at the 2012 MFA in Design Exhibition at the University of Texas.
The animated prototype helped Shaun in development immensely as it articulated a solid framework in which to plan and develop the system– expressing much of the "in between" moments otherwise lost in the presentation of static comps.

Invodo is the only full-service video solution in the world. We worked together to create a new digital framework to further solidify Invodo's position as the industry leader.
We designed and developed a framework after immersing ourselves into Invodo culture… or what they like to call "The Invodo Code". The result was a fully responsive site built collaboratively with the Invodo's Creative + Marketing teams.

How do you get to your house from your current location? If you were already at home I suppose this exercise wouldn’t be too difficult… But how do you visualize your daily commute? For me it is a display, in an almost instantaneous flash, of where I am in relation to where I need to go. Or vise versa. I’m not really a “Point A” to “Point B” thinker. I constantly visualize in abstractions of form in order to make sense of the space I inhabit.
These are a few mapping exercises visualizing a commute from start to finish using an abstracted path to signify the relationship between both points. The hill grade may not be all that useful to those traveling by car, but these were designed with the cyclist in mind.
